As the crisp air of fall settles in, Border Bank is once again rallying the many communities it serves for its Annual Winter Warmth Drive, running from September 22 through October 17. CEO Kory Shae invites everyone to take part in this meaningful tradition of giving.
“At Border Bank, we believe in looking out for one another,” said Shae. “The Winter Warmth Drive is a simple way to make a big impact. By donating cold weather gear, you’re helping ensure families in our communities can face winter with comfort and warmth.”
The bank is collecting new or gently used winter items for children and adults, including coats, jackets, hats, mittens, gloves and winter boots. Donations can be dropped off at any Border Bank location. All items will be distributed to local agencies that serve those in need.
“This drive reflects the heart of our culture—being aware of what our neighbors need and stepping up to help,” Shae added. “We’re grateful to be part of our communities that care deeply and act generously.”
Founded in 1935, Border Bank has grown into a trusted financial partner with eleven branches across North Dakota and Minnesota. With two locations in Fargo, ND, and nine throughout MN—including Coon Rapids, Thief River Falls, Greenbush, Roseau, Badger, Middle River, Clearbrook, Baudette, and International Falls—Border Bank remains deeply rooted in the communities it serves.
In addition to its banking services, Border Bank proudly owns Northern Ag, an insurance agency dedicated to strengthening the financial security of American farmers. Through innovative risk management tools, Northern Ag helps agricultural producers navigate uncertainty and protect what matters most.
