Thief River Falls, MN — Border Bank is pleased to share an update on the ongoing renovation of its Thief River Falls branch. As announced last fall, this project is designed to modernize the building’s interior and exterior, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall customer and employee experience—all while maintaining the current footprint of the facility.

The project has been progressing smoothly, and the bank is now preparing to begin Phase 2, scheduled from April 13 through mid-summer. During this phase, construction activity will focus on the remaining interior areas of the branch.

To ensure continued service throughout this period, all teller services will be provided through the drive‑through, and the lobby will be temporarily closed for teller transactions. Other on-site banking services will remain available; however, we ask customers to enter the bank through our back door and excuse our mess as we work to improve the space. Our hours of operation remain the same: 

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
