Erik Hegg, Border Bank Market President in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, announced Don McGuire has joined the team at Border Bank. McGuire will serve as Senior Vice President, Business Banker for the Twin Cities markets. 

McGuire is a veteran banking officer, with an impressive forty-five years experience in the financial services industry, including US Bank, BMO (fka Century Bank), and most recently MidWestOne (fka Central Bank) for 21 years. His expertise is broad, with considerable focus on business banking services, including business development and management. He has also served on various boards for organizations whose missions are to grow businesses, and community non-profit organizations such as Allina Hospital Foundation and the Humane Society, among others. He is currently serving as Treasurer on the Steppingstones Emergency Housing Board of Directors.

McGuire and his wife Silvia are long-time residents of Anoka County and have four children and four grandchildren. When not helping businesses grow, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, golfing, and is an amateur artist.
