Border Bank Announces 2022 Cultivate Award Winners

Each year, Border Bank selects three employees to receive the prestigious Cultivate Awards, representing the areas of service, community and innovation. This year’s recipients are:

Cultivate Service Award:  Skip Schreffler, Customer Support Manager, Fargo ND
Cultivate Community Award:  Christine Sibilleau, Retail Manager, Roseau, MN
Cultivate Innovation Award:  Dan Brust, Network Administrator, Coon Rapids, MN

“Border Bank’s Cultivate Awards program is a way to recognize team members who provide exceptional experiences for their customers, co-workers and communities. It is our team members who bring our culture of service, community and innovation to life each day and we are thrilled to honor those who make Border Bank a great place to work and do business with these coveted awards,” said Steph Melgaard, Retail Banking Director.

Schreffler, Sibilleau and Brust were nominated by their peers. “It is touching to hear how our team members speak about our recipients and how much they appreciate their contributions to the communities Border Bank serves, our customers and the Border Bank family. These three outstanding individuals deserve our accolades,” said David Felch, CEO.

Team members described Schreffler as a talented, caring and kind leader who goes the extra mile to resolve issues and build the department. Brust was defined as an innovator, one who is always seeking ways to do things better – a class act and role model.

To recognize and celebrate the award winners for their contributions, each were presented a crystal trophy and a cash award to be used to fund an experience or adventure for themselves and their families.
