Kris Lassila Promoted to Branch Manager

Derek Olson, Market President for Border Bank in Baudette and International Falls, announced Kris Lassila has been promoted to Vice President and Branch Manager at Border Bank in International Falls. Lassila will also continue to serve her customers as their trusted Business Officer.

Lassila has over 30 years experience in the financial industry and has held various positions, including Consumer Officer, Real Estate Officer, Operations Manager and Branch Manager. She joined Border Bank in 2021 as a Business Officer.

“Kris has quickly earned the respect and trust of our customers and her fellow team members. “I am grateful for this leadership opportunity and am honored to be part of the Border Bank family. I look forward to many more years of helping our customers become financially successful,” said Lassila.

Besides banking, Lassila enjoys spending time with her blended family fishing, camping and being outdoors. Lassila can be reached at kristine.lassila@border.bank, 218-283-5556 (bank), 218-290-2201 (cell), or at the branch in International Falls, 1414 Highway 71.
